About Nick

About Me

I am Nick Hodges and this is my website.  I am a Senior Software Developer at Gateway Ticketing Systems.  We provide world class ticketing systems for the world’s largest amusement parks, zoos, and museums.

Over the years I have been a busboy, a cook, a telemarketer (sorry), a teacher, a Naval Officer, a business owner, a software manager, and a software developer.  However, I’m a software developer at heart.

I’ve been a Pascal/Delphi developer for over twenty five years, and still think that Delphi is the best development tool out there.  I love to read programming books, attend conferences, watch cool videos about new programming techniques, and generally trying to be an industry thought leader (I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether I’ve succeeded or not…..)

I’ve written three books about Delphi in recent years.  I’m very grateful to the many people that have bought them.
